After exploring for two years, The Celtic Quilter has settled in at home.  It’s great saving commuting time, and I can work late into the night.

A little about myself:
I graduated from Colorado State University with a BS in Secondary Vocational Home Economics Education.  I have always loved working with my hands whether it is sewing, knitting, crocheting, cross stitch, or needle point. While my children were young I did sew some dresses and Halloween costumes but mostly completed cross stitch and other needle work projects due to space constraints.  Between seven and eight years ago while finishing 12 pieces for a cross stitch project, I saw them finished as a quilt.  I wasn’t impressed with the finished project and thought “I need to learn to quilt.”  I decided to take a beginning quilting/piecing class.  I have completed many quilts since then and am actually completing the quilt with the cross stitch pieces that started it all!

Soon after learning about piecing, I was exposed to quilting on the longarm.  Since that day, I have been hooked.  Digitized quilting was on the market only a short time when I discovered it.  It is an asset to get customers’ quilts returned with batting, quilting, and bound when requested, in a timely manner with many designs from which to choose. Our goal is to return your quilt within 1-2 weeks.
